Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it

 

 

God told women to submit to their own husband as unto the Lord. Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

However, instructions to men are higher; that men must love their own wife as Christ love the church. God commanded men to love their wife up to the point of being able to die for them if it comes to that. This plan of God will make the marriage institution stands righteous before God, where the wife submits like church submit to christ and husband love his wife and ready to die for her.

When a woman sees a man ready to die for her , that woman is conquered by the man because she has a great feeling of love and security. Also when a woman submit, the man is in control and the purpose of God is fulfilledWhy would a woman not submit and obey the Lord? Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness:

I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Beauty and pride work together and even Lucifer cannot stand before the Lord because of his beauty.

He was proud and fell.Women should learn to handle their beauty with great humility, otherwise, it can destroy a woman like it did to satan. 1Peter 3:Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. 

For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: 6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

 

Woman, Do you submit to your husband?

Man can you lay down your life down for your wife?
